10. – 16. March, Biathlon World Cup tour arrives Finland, Kontiolahti. On the side of intense races, there is also a great amount of cultural events available. In order to keep the competition atmosphere high and entertain the audience, Turundot takes part by producing music experiences.
Musical setting of the biathlon week is varied and colorful. In the beginning of the week, Tuomas Turunen welcomes the biathlon-folks to North Karelia with his “Karelian Inspiration” solo piano concert. Then, on each day when races are held, small concerts are heard in the VIP-pavilion of the Biathlon Stadium ; the stage is taken over by, for example, Accordion Champion Sami Hopponen and Vocal Group LuoTu.
